Organic marketing:
Development of alternative marketing structures through the concept of “Sampradaya santha”( organic bazaar ) is an innovative developed by GMF which facilitates the farmers. Themselves to directly market their farm in strategic locations, fastening consumer-producer partnerships. It is leads to market access and sustainable livelihoods for small farmers
Conserving the rich agro diversity was not enough and through farmers follow the organic methods of farming are unable to market their produce due to insufficient market facility there by defeating whole purpose. So GrameenMall foundation organizing  “Sampradaya Santha”.
What is santha?
Sampradaya santha is a meeting ground of nature friendly consumers and farmers producing healthy and natural organic food products. It is an innovation in alternative marketing , a team of dedicated service minded professionals, blending the values of traditional bazaar systems and ecological concerns. Products sold in the samprdaya santha’ are natural, safe, health and affordable.

What is organically produced food?
The health impact of pesticides and agro-chemicals, which we ingest through the food we eat, are alarming! It leads to headaches, vomiting, allergies, and skin problems besides chronic impacts like cancer, infertility, abortions, and neurological damages.
Foods produced without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides relying mainly on natural inputs like compost, indigenous seed and natural and eco-friendly methods of crop management and organically produced foods.


Why do we need organically/Naturally produced foods? 
·         They are safe with no contamination of chemical pesticides and fertilizers

Is organically produced food available?
During the past 3years, GMF  has endeavored to transform small farmers of  Different regions of AP into the following organic production methods, which protects our eco-system. Foods produced under the organic system of agriculture…

  •   Avoids the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides
  •   Advocates recycling plant and animal residues
  •   Prohibits GMOs (genetically modified organisms) and its products
  •   Avoids harmful processing methods and ingredients in food processing

In Tadwai Mandal  of Nizamabad  district, nearly 150 women farmers are practicing organic farming in their farms.  Most of these farmers own small farms less than a hectare. For the past Two years, GMF has been taking efforts to make available such organically produced food to the common man through organizing weekly bazaars in Hyderabad city.

Our Program me’s focuses on
To revive and strengthen the ancient traditions of giving and exchanging seeds and values traditional knowledge.
Seed saving - To help the farmers regain access to bio-diversity resources and region control of their own seeds.
Biodiversity conservation. - To protect nature and people’s rights to knowledge, biodiversity, water and food. GMF’s mission is to promote peace and harmony, justice and sustainability. We strive to achieve these goals through the conservation and renewal and rejuvenation of the gifts of biodiversity we have received from nature and our ancestors, and to define these gifts as common. The setting up of community seed banks is central to our mission of regeneration natures and peoples wealth. Keeping seeds, biodiversity and traditional knowledge in people’s hands to generate livelihoods and provide basic needs is our core programs for removal of poverty.
Sustainable food production: Recognizing that for thousands of years women have produced their food and guaranteed food security for their children and whole communities. GMF’s has organized co-operatives throughout AP to honor and strengthen this work. These groups are women led groups that create food sovereignty by protecting livelihoods and preserving culture and women’s knowledge
